Bolt-On Pickup Socket Head Bolts with Wrench and Gasket - Requires 3/4" Bolt-On or Press-In Pickup
- This anti-cavitation model features machined grooves in the housing and cover to reduce cavitation effects in high-RPM applications (housing & cover are also coated with manganese phosphate for rust prevention and longevity).
- The cover is doweled to the pump housing to ensure shaft bore alignment.
- The pump relief valve has a screw-in plug instead of a pin.
- The driveshaft has a male hex drive, and the corresponding female hex intermediate shaft is included.
- With this pump design, oil pressure is slightly reduced at idle
- For 7" deep oil pan, use Oil Pump Pickup #689-12557
- For 7.5" deep oil pan, use Oil Pump Pickup #689-12558
- For 8" deep oil pan, use Oil Pump Pickup #689-12559
