The Melling high performance anti-cavitation oil pump features a doweled cast iron housing and cover with additional machined anti-cavitation grooves, extended drive and idler shafts for additional support at increased RPM’s, screw in relief spring plug, a CNC machined cover and housing that is manganese phosphate coated, self locking socket head bolts includes wrench, billet steel gears, and a chrome moly drive shaft with steel guide. Includes lower pressure spring to reduce pressure. Every Melling high performanc e oil pump is individually tested for pressure and flow under actual engine operating conditions. Melling high performance anti-cavitation oil pumps are for racing applications only and are not recommended for street use.
