Melling Cylinder Sleeves are made from centrifugal cast iron to tolerances as small as one half of one-thousandth of an inch using modern CNC equipment. The centerless OD grinding process results with a part that is exact to size specifications and is perfectly round. The material used machines easily with strength and durability similar to that of ductile iron.
