Milodon's Premium Main Bolt and Stud Kits are forged from 8740 chrome moly steel, heat-treated, ground and thread rolled to assure exacting tolerances and strength. Each bolt and stud is coated in a black oxide finish to ensure lasting durability and use.

Main Bolts: Feature a 1/2'' hex head for greater socket clearance and a wide flange area under the head for greater load spread. The tensile strength of these premium fasteners is 170,000 PSI.

Main Studs: Required where maximum loading and reduced wear and tear on the block threads are desired. 190,000 PSI tensile strength is equal to the most demanding of applications. Includes 4130 heat-treated, parallel-ground washers and high-strength nuts.
