To supplement this radiator upgrade, we've included our incredibly robust silicone radiator hose kit for the 5.9L. Mishimoto silicone hoses are constructed from high-grade 4-ply silicone with heat-resistant embedded fibers for superior heat and pressure tolerance. Finally, rounding out our essentials bundle is the Mishimoto low-temperature thermostat. The Mishimoto thermostat has a lower activation temperature (185F) than the factory thermostat (192F). The lower activation temperature allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier, reducing the risk of overheating in hot environments.
