Placing the plate in the center of the bumper obstructs air flow to the radiator while also creating win d resistance. Mounting to the side requires drilling into and ruining your brand-new bumper. Luckily, there's no need to worry about drilling holes in your new bumper because Mishimoto has a solution----Designed specifically for the 2015-2020 BMW F8X M3 and M4, our license plate relocation kit is co nstructed from high-strength, anodized, and powder coated 6061-aluminum. It mounts directly to the OEM tow hook location, allowing for a clean and seamless installation. We’ve angled the plate to match the lines of the bumper and mounted it securely using the factory tow hook location to improve a erodynamics and allow airflow through the cooling stack.
