CVTF+4 is the fluid specified for the CVT2 continuously variable transmissions used in the Compass, Patriot and Caliber. It is worth being emphatic about this one: CVT fluid is not ATF, and filling a CVT with ATF+4 because the bottle was closer to hand is how these transmissions get destroyed. Check the owner manual or the dipstick tube marking if there is any doubt about which unit is fitted.
