On these trucks the heater and air conditioning mode doors are moved by vacuum, so a cracked or brittle vacuum harness shows up as blend or mode doors that default to defrost, especially under acceleration when engine vacuum drops. Chasing that with individual pieces of hose rarely works because the harness is molded as one assembly. This is the factory replacement.
