This is the control module for the anti-lock brake and stability system, the part that interprets wheel speed data and decides when to intervene. It is supplied as the module alone, so the hydraulic unit stays on the vehicle. Note that it arrives uninitialized: a bidirectional scan tool is needed to configure it to the vehicle before ABS will function.

• Fits 2008-2009 Dodge Caliber, Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot built after 10/23/07.
• For 1.8L, 2.0L and 2.4L engines, including the 2.0L diesel.
• For vehicles with anti-lock four-wheel disc brakes and electronic stability program.
• Supersedes 68038072AA and 68044938AA.
• Module only. Requires initialization with a bidirectional scan tool after installation.
