The EGR cooler needs coolant flow to drop exhaust gas temperature before it re-enters the intake, and this tube is part of that circuit at the thermostat housing. It runs hot, it is steel, and it corrodes from the inside as well as the outside, so a seep here is common on higher mileage trucks and often mistaken for a leaking housing.

• Routes coolant out of the engine at the thermostat housing.
• Pre-formed to the factory routing with the correct fittings.
• Genuine Mopar tube. Replace seals and refill with the specified coolant.
