A supercharged engine makes more heat than the same displacement without boost, so the water pump on the 6.2L is working harder than most. Pumps fail at the seal or the bearing, and either one gives warning: a weep from the shaft, or a whine that rises with engine speed. Neither should be ignored on an engine with this much thermal load.
