Rear Oil Galley Diverter Plug
  • GM LS Gen-III/IV 4.8/5.3/6.0/6.2L (Including Vortec Truck Engines)
  • (2) Viton O-Rings
  • 4 mm Threaded Top Hole
  • Billet Aluminum
  • Sold Individually

    Features:

    • Directly replaces the OEM plastic plug to prevent oil from bypassing the oil filter
    • The secondary O-ring seals the dirty side of the galley from the clean side to prevent dirty oil from flowing to the engine bearings
    • A smaller shaft diameter compared to the OEM piece minimizes any oil flow restriction
    • The Viton O-rings withstand all types of engine oils, compression cycles and have high-temperature resistance
    • The 4 mm threaded hole allows for easy removal from the engine block once installed

      • Prevent Dirty Oil from Bypassing the Filter

Moroso's Oil Galley Diverter Plug for GM LS engines, also known as a Dog Bone or Barbell, is designed to replace the OEM plastic version with a strong and more durable billet aluminum plug. It features double Viton o-rings for extra sealing and has a smaller shaft diameter to minimize any flow restriction through the engine oil passages. This galley plug upgrade is highly recommended for any engine build.
