Tall spacer stacks and open plenum carb spacers push the carburetor flange well above the manifold deck, and the stock hardware simply runs out of thread. This kit supplies 3.5 in. studs for a 0.500 in. thick carburetor flange combined with a 2 in. spacer or as many as four 0.500 in. spacers. Threading the studs into the manifold first also makes it far easier to seat a tall spacer stack and gaskets squarely without dropping hardware into the intake.

• Four 5/16-24 x 3.5 in. studs for the tallest common carburetor spacer combinations.
• Install the studs into the manifold first, then stack gaskets and spacers over them.
• Bullet nose ends make the 12-point nuts easy to start by hand at full extension.
• 12-point nuts clear the carburetor body and fuel bowl screws better than hex nuts.
• Hardened flat washers and black oxide finish resist galling and corrosion.

Note: with a tall spacer stack, recheck air cleaner and hood clearance and confirm the throttle linkage reaches full travel before final assembly.
