Mounting a throttle return spring is an afterthought on most carburetor installs, and a bracket clamped under a stock bolt head tends to shift or crack. This kit builds the mount into the carburetor hardware itself with a 0.250 in. thick bracket sandwiched under the rear studs. The two stud lengths are deliberate: the shorter pair carries the plain corners of the carburetor flange, and the longer pair accounts for the added bracket thickness.

Moroso 37966 Kit Contents:

• Two 5/16-24 x 1.625 in. studs and two 5/16-24 x 2.0 in. studs.
• 0.250 in. thick throttle return spring bracket for a positive, repeatable spring anchor.
• 12-point nuts and hardened flat washers for all four studs.
• Bullet nose stud ends thread the nuts on by hand without cross-threading.
• Black oxide finish throughout for corrosion resistance.

Note: fit the longer studs at the bracket location and confirm the spring pull direction returns the throttle fully closed before driving the vehicle.
