Tall spacer and air gap intake combinations raise the carburetor high enough that both stud length and throttle return spring geometry need attention. This kit covers that case with 2.5 in. and 3.5 in. studs plus a 0.250 in. thick return spring bracket, keeping the spring anchored to the carburetor hardware rather than to a bracket wedged under a bolt head. Installing the studs into the manifold first also keeps a tall gasket and spacer stack aligned during assembly.

Moroso 37968 Kit Contents:

• Two 5/16-24 x 2.5 in. studs and two 5/16-24 x 3.5 in. studs.
• 0.250 in. thick throttle return spring bracket for the longer stud location.
• 12-point nuts and hardened flat washers for all four positions.
• Bullet nose stud ends make nuts easy to start at full stud height.
• Black oxide finish throughout for corrosion resistance.

Note: with the carburetor raised, recheck air cleaner to hood clearance and confirm the return spring closes the throttle completely.
