Mr. Gasket Thread Locking Compound is an anaerobic locking compound which cures between engaged threads to form a unitized seal that resists leakage, excessive shock, corrosion and vibration. It cures in as little as 15-45 minutes without cracking or shrinking and prevents the formation of rust or corrosion on threads. Thread locking compound is available in two strengths, medium (blue) and high (red), depending on the sheer strength of a specific application. Mr. Gasket Thread Locking Compound comes in 1/4 oz. tubes and is designed for use on metal hardware only. It should never be used on plastic hardware or fasteners.
