Stamped steel valve covers leak because the flange bows up between the bolts. Clamps spread the load along the rail instead of pinching it at each hole, so the gasket stays compressed the whole way round and the cover flange keeps its shape.

- Help prevent oil leakage from stamped valve covers.
- Allow the covers to be tightened down without bending the flange.
- 1/4 in. diameter holes.

- These chrome plated steel valve cover clamps help distribute bolt pressure more evenly for better sealing. The longer, competition style clamps are ideal for use on valve covers using only 4 hold-down bolts, while the smaller style clamps are ideal for use on covers utilizing more than 4 hold-down bolts. Both styles will only accommodate up to a 1/4'' dia. hold-down bolt.
