Sequential fuel injection needs to know both crank position and which stroke the engine is on, and a standard distributor cannot supply the second signal. This dual sync unit carries two Hall Effect sensors and a pinned, welded shutter wheel to provide crank and cam reference to an aftermarket ECU, and it can also be used to trigger throttle body injection systems.
