The DIS Direct Ignition System control box runs coil-near-plug ignition on GM, Ford and Dodge V8 engines that use an MSD Pro-Billet Dual Sync distributor. It digitally controls timing and adds racing features such as launch timing, rev limiting and timing retards for boost and nitrous.

Required Parts & Programmable Features:

• Requires an MSD Pro-Billet Dual Sync distributor, PN 84323 blank distributor cap, an LS coil harness and GM LS style coils.
• Built-in 2.5 bar MAP sensor for timing control on boosted engines.
• Programmable max rev limiter, launch rev limiter and launch timing retard.
• Single timing step retard for nitrous applications.
• Individual cylinder timing and an optional temperature sensor input.
• Data acquisition and programming through a Mini-USB communication port.
• Red housing measures 8.4 in. long, 6 in. wide and 4.6 in. high; mounting hardware included.
