To incorporate the Individual Cylinder Management functions of the Programmable Controls, a synchronization pickup must be installed to notify the ignition when the number one cylinder is firing. This Inductive Sync Pickup easily installs onto the number one spark plug wire, senses the trigger signal, then sends this information to the ignition through a fiber optic cable. By using a fiber optic cable, there is no chance of EMI or interference.
