A 351 Windsor build that runs a multiple-spark ignition box needs a distributor that only has to trigger and distribute, and do both accurately at rpm. This one uses a maintenance-free magnetic pickup with a precision reluctor for a stable trigger signal, and the housing and base are CNC machined from billet aluminum. The advance weight pins are staked and TIG welded rather than pressed in, which is where cheaper units eventually go out of calibration.
