A distributor is only as accurate as the gear driving it, and a worn or mismatched gear will scatter timing and eventually take the cam gear with it. This ductile iron replacement gear is sized for the 0.531 in. shaft used on big block and FE Ford distributors, and it is melonite QPQ coated so the initial break-in does not cost you material.
MSD 85812 Cast Iron Distributor Drive Gear Features:
