2-Step Launch Control Module for 1999-Up Ford 4.6L and 5.4L Modular Engines
Leaving the line at a repeatable rpm is what makes 60-foot times consistent, and that requires a second rev limit you can hold the throttle against while staged. This module connects to the factory coils on a Modular Ford, sets a launch rpm, and releases to the normal limit when the activation switch opens so the car leaves hard.
MSD 8734 2-Step Launch Control Module Features:
- Adds a second, lower rpm limit for staging and launching.
- Fits 1999 and later Ford 4.6L and 5.4L Modular engines.
- Connects to the factory coils, no splicing required.
- Launch rpm is easily set for consistent holeshots.
- For 4-valve Coyote engines from 2011 and later, use PN 8731 instead.
