Nitrous and boosted combinations need timing pulled out when the power comes on, and the amount is specific to the engine. On a timing control that uses plug-in retard modules, the amount of retard is set by the module installed, so having a range on hand means the number can be tuned instead of guessed. This kit covers 11 through 15 degrees in one degree steps.
