The Start/Retard control eases cranking on engines with locked-out timing and adds a single stage retard for high rpm or nitrous use. It must be used with an MSD ignition control.

Timing Control Functions:

• Start retard is activated when the violet wire is applied to 12 volts.
• Step retard is activated when the gray wire is removed from ground.
• High speed retard amount is adjustable with plug-in modules.
• Must be used with an MSD ignition control.
