NHRA rules require the safety blow off to be routed outside the vehicle. This fitting replaces the existing safety blow off fitting and allows you to attach a blow down tube to the safety blow off fitting. Fits lightning 45 bottle valve and NX chrome bottle valves with female threads. Disk not included. For chrome valves, use with a new disk (p/n 744-11712). When used with a lightning 45 valve (black), reuse the existing disk in the valve.

Lightning 45 Bottle Valves are the first nitrous specific valve ever produced in lightweight aluminum. Manufactured from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and pressure tested to over 10,000 psi to ensure safety, the Lightning 45 will outflow any valve on the market today by a factor of four (except the NX DF5 Valve). Restrictive bottle valves will no longer be a problem in the nitrous world. The new and improved Lightning bottle valve features, a huge 5/8'' siphon tube, a .500'' lift stem assembly and a 45-degree outlet for the ultimate in flow and horsepower production. The Lightning valve includes dual gauge ports and weighs 1/2-pound less than the old style chrome plated brass valve. The Lightning comes standard in many NX nitrous systems and is also available separately as an upgrade for your existing bottle.
