Reproduction front bumper brace for 1970-73 Camaro standard models. Each brace is manufactured in stamped steel to original factory specifications for an authentic appearance and fit. Features black EDP coating for rust and corrosion prevention. The brace fits behind the bumper and bolts to the bumper brackets. This brace was originally installed on 1973 models but can be used with 1970-72 Camaro models by drilling several holes for mounting. Federal DOT standards changed in 1973 which made it necessary for the bumper to sustain minimum damage in a 2-1/2 MPH or less crash. This was achieved with the addition of this center reinforcement.
