Reproduction center hub, commonly referred to as "spider hub" for the leather wrapped NK3 style steering wheel (part # 17983441) found on many 1982-89 Camaro models. This spider gear is produced in steel, and is designed to attach the steering wheel assembly to the steering column. The "spider leg" design allows the steering wheel to collapse in the case of an accident. It is often the cause of "out-of-shape", bent, warped, or wobbly steering wheels. Included with each hub, are (6) special, fine-thread, countersunk, Torx-head screws that are required to bolt the wheel to the hub.
