This fuel tank mounting brace, also referred to as the trunk floor brace, is a reproduction designed for 1973-1977 Chevelle, El Camino, Monte Carlo, Cutlass, and Sprint models, as well as 1973 Pontiac GTO and LeMans. Manufactured in stamped steel to factory specifications, it installs to the bottom side of the trunk floor to provide structural support and the correct mounting location for the fuel tank. Fits all models except station wagon. Can be used on either the left or right side as required.
