This center console inner box is designed for 1968-1972 Pontiac GTO and LeMans, and 1968-1970 Pontiac Tempest models to provide the internal storage compartment within the console assembly. Manufactured from injection molded plastic, it replicates the original factory insert for proper fit and function in both automatic and manual transmission consoles. The inner box functions as the storage cavity beneath the console lid while supporting proper console assembly structure. Installation is drop-in within the console housing using factory mounting provisions.
