The Muncie chrome plated flat bar stick is the upper bolt on handle that was originally supplied from the factories in Detroit for 1968-72 Chevrolet A-Body models that were "Muncie Equipped". The chrome flat bar stick, bolt-on design, Muncie logos, and chrome plated ball knob were all identifying features and signified that the Muncie Shifter was installed at the factory as original vehicle equipment. Previously, never sold to the general public, we now have this rare shift handle available to fit the Hurst shifter body. These sticks were originally only available if you bought a vehicle that was optioned with a Muncie Shifter from the dealer. But now this authentic style stick is available as an authentic quality reproduction to restore the factory appearance of your Chevy A-Body with a Muncie style shift handle, but with the added reliability of the highly desired Hurst shifter.
