Reproduction of the original style front nose conversion panel for 1970-73 Pontiac Trans Am models. On 1970-73 models the factory nose was manufactured in heavy steel with a formed urethane covering that acted as the front bumper during impacts. This lightweight conversion is made of heavy duty fiberglass construction that does not have a steel backing, designed to reduce weight, while acting as a cosmetic replacement of the heavy steel and urethane original bumper. Once installed, there will be no steel bumper reinforcement to protect against impact, but this conversion will greatly reduce weight while improving the appearance over a cracked and rusted original bumper. Mounting hardware is not included. Some minor modifications may be required for conversion panel installation
