After years of use your trunk area is probably in poor condition due to water damage or other factors. If you are replacing your trunk pan then spraying the trunk is a must, even if you're installing a trunk mat. This is the clear topcoat that must be used to seal the spatter coat. Comes in a 16 Oz. Aerosol Can (Net Wt. 12 Oz.). This top coat can be used with virtually any vehicle. First, clean the trunk area and paint with trunk spatter paint. After drying, use the topcoat to seal the spatter paint and make your trunk look new again!
Four Steps To A Great Finish
Restore the trunk area of your classic hot rod to a factory original appearance and provide the ultimate protection from the elements. OER manufactures a variety of coatings for the restoration of the trunk area.
1) Prime the area to be painted. On bare metal, you should use a self-etching primer.
2) Spray on the base coat.
3) Spray on splatter coat and let dry thoroughly.
4) Coat the entire surface with OER's clear top coat to seal and protect.
