Beehive 300 Series Valve Spring Retainers are designed for smaller beehive springs and made from heat treated 4140 chrome moly steel with black oxide finish. PAC-Tuff 400 Series Valve Spring Retainers are constructed from 6AL4V Titanium alloy and they are completely sonic tested to aerospace standards prior to CNC-machining.
