Tech Notes:
- Not compatible with generator-equipped vehicles
- Included air filter may interfere with some valve covers
- Carburetor enclosure is compatible with small diameter distributor cap only
- Throttle linkage compatible with 1964-68 Mustang only (other years/vehicles will need custom throttle linkage construction)
- Stock compression ratio is recommended. If other than the factory manifold (standard rise) is used, a cowl hood may be needed.

 | Air Conditioning For 1964-68 Mustang 260/289/302 with passenger mount configuration, factory air conditioning can be used by adding an optional A/C assembly (Paxton part number 4PFX110-080). For the 1969 Mustang 351 Windsor with passenger mount, most vehicles incorporate an A/C belt tensioner on the compressor support plate. In such cases, a water pump pulley and proper length A/C drive belt must be obtained. Both applications utilize the 1965 Mustang (York-style) compressor support, pulley diameters, and offsets. This allows the alternator, power steering, and A/C compressor to be retained; if equipped, however, the smog pump must be eliminated. |
