This part is legal for sale and use on Uncontrolled (Non-Emissions Controlled) Vehicles, on engines that have been transplanted or swapped into uncontrolled or pre-pollution controlled vehicles and vehicles used solely for the purposes of closed competition racing.
The following vehicles are considered Uncontrolled (Non-Emissions Controlled) Vehicles:
- 1965 and older U.S. manufactured California Certified vehicles
- 1967 and older U.S. manufactured Federally Certified vehicles
- 1967 and older Foreign manufactured vehicle
The following vehicles are considered Racing Use Only Vehicles:
- Racing Use Only Vehicles are those vehicles that are used exclusively for competition that is not registered, will never become registered, and will never be used on streets or highways.
WARNING: It is against the law to install this part on an Emissions Controlled Vehicle.

- 1966 and newer U.S. manufactured California Certified vehicles

Spanning more than four decades, Paxton Automotive has been setting supercharger standards. Complete and Tuner Supercharger Systems for the Mustang GT 4.6L are the ultimate bolt-on packages for on-demand street power. Complete System estimates show an increase of 170 HP for 2005-08 models and 183 HP for 2009-10 models. Tuner Systems do not include fuel upgrade (injectors, pump, ECM chip). Paxton carries a 3-year limited supercharger warranty.

NOVI SL Supercharger
The NOVI SL (Self-Lubricating) Supercharger has an internal oil reservoir for self-contained lubrication so no oil lines are needed, and a unique transmission housing enables effective gear lubrication and bearing temperature control.- Gear case baffling for proper oil control
- No connection required between engine oil pan & compressor or gear case
- Simple oil slinger design does not require a separate shaft or bearing set
- Supercharger is prefilled with Paxton's special synthetic fluid
