This large case 3G (third generation) series alternator is available in 130 and 200 amp versions to replace factory units used on Ford cars and trucks from 1992 and newer. It is also a great upgrade for earlier 1G and 2G alternators back to 1963. The mounting footprint is the same for the straight ear models. You can take your choice of the simple 1-wire version or a plug-in style used with our wiring harness to adapt from an earlier 1G (externally regulated) or 2G (internally regulated) alternator. These alternators are supplied with a 6 rib serpentine pulley.
