The CS144 series of alternators from Powermaster for GM offer incredible output both at idle and at highway speed. Made for the street but suitable for racing, they are internally regulated and feature huge output at idle. High amperage is what this unit is all about and that shows in the selection of components from the high temperature windings all the way to the press fit diodes. The gold battery post is a signature of an authentic Powermaster alternator. Being a Powermaster means that it has the performance and reliability that you need.
Powermaster GM CS144 Style Alternators have a straight across ear mounting configuration that is 7.2" center-to-center between the mounting ears. This is only 5/8" wider than the earlier 10SI, 12SI, and CS-130 series so, if you do not have a fixed mounting bracket, it will make a great high output upgrade for those alternators. Made in the U.S.A.
