- This precision-machined line of Powerfilter Oil Filters consists of billet-style products made of aircraft-quality aluminum. The filter element itself is a finely woven 45 micron stainless steel mesh that is easily removed, cleaned, and reused. Though a lifetime element, replacements are sold separately in case the original gets damaged (replacement O-rings are also available). Extra-fine 10 micron elements are available for racing applications (should be cleaned after each race). Additionally, Powerfilters feature a pipe plug so oil can be drained from the filter before removal to reduce oil drips when removing the filter housing.
