    The alternator is usually the one part in a dressed-up engine bay that still looks stock. Proform's Slant-Edge alternator changes that, with a cast case styled to match the Slant-Edge valve cover and air cleaner line and a bold recessed Chevrolet bowtie. Underneath the looks it is a GM 10SI-style 1-wire unit with an internal regulator and 100 amps of output, so it wires in with a single charge lead.
