Notes: Alternator Bracket Bolts To Water Neck. Premium Chrome Alternator Bracket. Made of heavy steel and offered for the most popular Chevrolet small block V8 applications, these brackets become a very noticeable addition to every chrome-accessorized engine. Technical Note: Before purchasing, visually compare your original bracket style with photo to insure proper part selection. Use a steel straightedge to verify alignment with crankshaft and water pump pulleys. For use when top bracket bolts to neck (except Corvette). Includes upper and lower brackets. Technical Note: Engineered to fit applications with a distance of 6-3/4' between the center of the hole in the waterneck and the front of the mounting node on the water pump. The brackets mounting holes are oval for added adjustment. For different distances due to water pump variations, minor modification or shimming of the bracket may be necessary.
