Charcoal colored carbon fiber is one of the most popular materials used in manufacturing today because of its strength and attractive looks. Proform's new Carbon-style engine dress-up products are stamped steel parts with a carbon fiber film adhered to the exterior surface giving the parts that look customers crave at a reasonable price with the strength of steel. This product includes a black crinkle Ford Oval center nut, and all the necessary mounting hardware.
These 13' diameter air cleaners fit 2V and 4V carburetors, and are supplied with a 2-5/8' high Motorcraft® filter element.
Technical note: After installing a new air cleaner kit, always lower the hood slowly to confirm sufficient clearance visually. Minimum clearance of 4' is required from the top of the carburetor gasket area to the underside of the hood.
Clean up the look of your Ford engine with an Officially Licensed Ford Air Cleaner from Proform. They are available in various styles that will complement any engine compartment. The Classic or Slant-Edge style air cleaners feature Ford-embossed lids and are 13" in diameter with included 2-5/8" Ford filter.
