A stock harmonic damper on a modified 5.3L can start absorbing more torsional vibration than it was designed for, especially once RPM and horsepower climb past factory levels. PRW's Pro Series damper is built from billet steel forgings with elastomer injected between the hub and ring, giving it the SFI 18.1 certification a stock damper was never rated for.
