They are designed to be used with popular 3-bolt steering wheels and 3/4" diameter steering shafts. They allow for quick steering wheel removal and replacement, often required to allow driver entry or exit. Each steering wheel disconnect is sold complete with a steel, weld-on hub adaptor. Replacement weld-on hub steel adapters are also available separately.
