A Great Go-To Helmet For Any Racing Environment
The SportMod series helmet was designed to be a superior SA2010 helmet, but at a fraction of the cost of the competition. The SportMod helmet exceeds the Snell SA2010 testing requirements. The SportMod is constructed of a hand laid fiberglass shell with a expanded polystyrene liner material. A blended Nomex interior provides superior comfort and a proper fit. The low fog face shield is a polycarbonate construction, and provides extended peripheral vision. The pivot hardware is a high strength aluminum alloy. The eye port gasket is made from high grade soft silicone to form a perfect seal every time, which helps keep dust out. The SportMod also comes equipped with front and rear top vents, providing a superior cooling environment. The shell is pre-drilled for HNR / HANS anchors making installation a snap.
