The RetroSound Wonder Bar Radios are designed to emulate the original Chevrolet radio introduced in 1957. Today we take for granted that there was a time when auto-seek did not exist on a car radio. Tuning to your favorite station or finding a radio signal while traveling required the constant attention of a passenger. The original Wonder Bar radio introduced a simple way for the driver to press the Wonder Bar and the radio would find the first radio station that had a clear broadcast signal for your location.

This was a revolutionary design sixty years ago and finding a functional example to restore your classic today is becoming increasingly harder. On top of that, the original Wonder Bar radio is very limited in its functionality and until now the only way to upgrade was to cut a large rectangular hole in the dash or mount a second radio in the glove box or under the seat.
