Snow Performance's Stage 1 Boost Cooler is a boost-switch-activated water-methanol system built for street-driven turbo and centrifugal-supercharger engines that need an octane cushion without the complexity of a mapped controller. An adjustable pressure switch triggers a fixed water-methanol dose once boost crosses the set point, raising effective pump-gas octane by roughly 25 points and pulling heat out of the intake charge so the engine can safely carry more boost and timing.
