Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized cooler/lube flow control valve kit 168740-08K eliminates the exhaust of crucial pressure escaping the cooler/lube circuit and restores OE functionality and pressure specifications. The length of the major diameter outboard spool of the oversized Sonnax valve was increased by 164% to help prevent future side-loading wear. Annular grooves have been added on the critical diameters of the valve to help keep the valve centered in the bore.
