Sonnax high clutch piston 28765-09 is a replacement optimized for GM Powerglide performance applications using a stock-style drum. The piston is thinner than OE pistons to allow for seven or eight frictions depending on friction/steel combination. Forged from 6061 aluminum, the piston will not crack at high operating pressure like cast pistons.
