Sonnax offers this high-quality, lightweight aluminum oil pan for GM Powerglide transmissions. The pan has a wedge shape that allows for two extra quarts of oil capacity without sacrificing ground clearance. Seamless construction and a reinforced pan rail minimize distortion and eliminate leaks and cracks, while the integral baffle ensures proper oil supply during hard acceleration. Threaded fittings are provided for the oil drain and to allow the pan to be set up for either 1/2" NPT or 1/8" NPT temperature sending devices. A magnetic drain plug and nylon sealing washer are included in the kit.
